SUBWAY REWARDS® IS CHANGING

Exciting updates are coming to Subway Rewards® to make your experience more generous, consistent and easier to understand.

What’s changing

One simple way to earn

We’re removing different member levels and earning rates. Every member will earn 10% back in Subway® Cash on every qualifying purchase in Subway® Restaurants or via the Subway® app. See the full terms of use for exclusions and limitations.

Points and Subway® Cash changes

You’ll no longer earn points. Instead, you’ll earn and redeem Subway® Cash directly. For example: Spend £10 → receive £1 in Subway® Cash.

Subway® Cash can be redeemed in £1 increments on all your favourite Subs, snacks and drinks – both in restaurant and through the app.

When the changes go live, your points balance will automatically convert to its equivalent Subway® Cash value. You’ll see this in your app and at the top of emails.

There will be a new £50 limit on the amount of Subway® Cash you can earn. If your current balance is above £50, the excess will remain available for 6 months, but you won’t be able to earn additional Subway® Cash until your balance falls below the limit.

Updated Subway® Cash validity

Subway® Cash will now expire six months after the date it was earned and removed from your account.

You can easily track upcoming expiries in your app.

All your other benefits stay the same.

You’ll continue to enjoy:

What you need to do

To keep using Subway Rewards®, simply update your app when prompted and follow the on-screen steps. In order not to miss out on any rewards or offers, make sure you’re opted in to emails and push notifications.

Get ready for Subway Rewards® made simpler.

I am currently in The Boss/Hot Shot level. Will I lose out on benefits?
No. The new points structure is actually more generous for all members, regardless of previous tier level. Members who are opted in to email and/or push notifications will continue to receive extra rewards and offers — including birthday treats and other personalised promotions.
Will I have to download a new app?
If you are a current Subway Rewards® member with the current Subway® app, you will not need to download a new app, but instead update your current app when prompted to do so.
What will happen to any points / Subway® Cash I currently have?

Will my Subway® Cash expire?
Will my Subway® Cash expire? All Subway® Cash is valid for six months from the date it was earned. You must use your Subway® Cash within these 6 months or it will expire and no longer be available. The expiration date for each allocation of Subway® Cash is shown in the History page within the Rewards section of the app.
Will there be a limit to the amount of Subway® Cash I can earn?
Yes. You will be able to hold up to £50 in Subway® Cash at any one time. Once you reach the £50 limit, you’ll pause earning until either you redeem some of your balance or some Subway® Cash expires. After your balance drops below the limit, you’ll start earning again on your next purchase.
